Donna + Vinnie's Engagement

Watching two people as they commence their journey towards becoming husband and wife is always a special occasion, so when Donna + Vinnie asked me to capture both their engagement and wedding I was more than excited. Their engagement was held in the newly opened Borsa Pasta Cucina, which was transformed from a restaurant into a beautiful rustic area, filled with many special and personal touches. Family and friends play a big part in this couple's life, and they made sure that they were included in every aspect of the night which felt just like a big family get together- cosy and relaxed, filled with laughter and amazing food. I can only imagine what their wedding will have in store, and I look forward to capturing some amazing photos from Donna + Vinnie- even if that means I will have to work with my largest bridal party in my career! Looking forward to March 8th 2015! (location: Borsa Pasta Cucina).

Uniting Communities 'Colleen's Cosy'

What better way is there to get people in a community out and talking with another than over a cup of tea and biscuits? The folks at Uniting Communities though so too, and decided to do the ultimate tea party by transforming an old caravan into a mobile tea pot! Suitably named 'Colleen'  this caravan was given a whole lot of loving from various members of the Uniting Community team and the wider community, with many hours of work poured into creating a beautifully knitted patch-work cosy for the old girl. Once completed, Uniting Communities decided to spread Colleen's love and hosted an unveiling tea party with the Campbeltown City Council in Tranmere and what a party it was! There was plenty of entertainment, cakes and of course tea to make all those who attending enjoy the afternoon and get to know their neighbours. An amazing day showcasing the amazing work a community can do when they work together. (job: Colleen's Cosy Tea Party / client: Uniting Communities SA)

Vincent's Christening (March 2104)

A baby's christening, regardless of the religion, is always a joyful and special occasion and an important moment in the baby's life. The christening of Vincent was nothing short of the above, with every moment filled with love. Parent's Teresa and Robbie helped Vincent start his life in faith together with his godparent's, family and friends. More than just a religious ceremony, Vincent's christening was a celebration of family, love and life. (Ceremony: Our Lady of the Scared Heart / Reception: Estia Restaurant)

Jessica + Loui's Engagement (February 2014)

Young love is such a gorgeous thing, so being asked to capture the joy of an engagement of two friends is such an honour. It was a warm summer's night when Jessica + Loui celebrated their engagement and with the help of their closest family and friends, there was a distinctive party feel in the air. There was so much laughter and love isn the end, and it was evident to see that everyone regardless of age was having fun- I can only imagine what the wedding will be like. Congratulations to Jessica + Loui and all the best as they plan their wedding!

Uniting Communities + Clayton Wesley Church Christmas Party

Not even the 40C heat could deter people from attending this magical Christmas Party. There was a host of activities outside from a petting zoo to face painting to keep everyone well entertained, but it was what was happening inside that was the real start of the show as volunteers handed out food hampers and toys to those less fortunate. The true spirit of Christmas was well alive thanks some very special people. (job: Uniting Communities + Clayton Wesley Church Christmas Party / client: uniting Communities South Australia)

Woolworths 'Berri Merry Christmas'

The Christmas spirit was certainly in full mode at the annual 'Berri Merry Christmas' event. Held in the beautiful town of Berri in South Australia's Riverland region, Woolworths was present at the event encouraging people to support local produce and manufactures. Handing out South Australian apples and oranges, as well as SA made and owned Balfours cakes, it was great to see the Woolworths staff push the importance of supporting local communities - the locals didn't mind a few freebies either!  (job: Berri Merry Christmas / client: BEcause PR Sydney, for Woolworths Australia)

Larnie's 'Crazy Carnival of Dreams' Party

If anyone can throw a party, the Mango Promotions team can do it better! A crazy carnival of dreams is what the birthday girl wanted, and that's exactly what she received. From fire eaters, stilt walkers, body painted girls and guys, lolly buffet, and crazy dancing there was nothing that was spared  for this amazing girl's birthday. It was such an honour and so much fun to photograph Larnie's birthday (who happens to be my old employer from way back when)- there was laughter and smiles everywhere. I hope you had a wonderful birthday hun- as you said, once you are Mango you are always part of the Mango family! Woolworths 'Aussie Animals Collectables Trading Day'

Wow, what a fun shoot Saturday morning turned out to be! Located at Woolworths Arkaba, I had the pleasure in capturing all the fun and excitement of the Australia wide 'Aussie Animals Collectables Trading Day.' This was like the stock exchange for children! There was bargaining, swapping, and dealing everywhere you looked. What made it more funny was how intense the adults were in securing those missing cards for their children- I think the adults were more wrapped in the event then the children. With face painting, cupcakes, gift bags, lucky dips, and even a wild Australian animals display outside, Woolworths Arkaba ensured that children and adults alike enjoyed every aspect of this event!
